A long teardrop of frosted rock crystal hanging against a dark red-brown background. Leaves and a thin stem are carved in low relief across the front of the stone, rising from the matte surface. The cap at the top is blackened silver set closely with small green tsavorites, and the bail above it is set with a row of brown diamonds. The stone is lit from the front so the carving reads as shadow rather than shine.

The last leaves are the most determined ones. They hold through the first frost, through everything that should have taken them already.

The crystal is carved in cameo, leaves rising from the frosted surface of the drop. The cap is set with tsavorite and brown diamonds. Green for what the leaves were. Brown for the bark that outlasts them.
