Return Policy
Each piece is made once and leaves the studio in perfect condition. The price you see is the price you pay. If something is not right, write first — every situation is handled with care.
Under EU consumer law you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the piece, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, send a clear statement of your decision to ewa@ewasleziona.com.
Every piece leaves the studio sealed: a cord closed with wax and stamped with the maker's seal. You are welcome to examine the piece as you would in a shop. Opening the seal is not required to do so. A piece returned with the seal broken has been worn, and the resulting reduction in value will be deducted from the refund.
All original packaging and documentation must be returned with the piece.
The studio arranges collection for every return. Once you have notified us, a DHL Express collection is booked from your address, insured for the full value of the piece, at a time that suits you.
The cost of collection is the responsibility of the customer and is deducted from the refund. It is the actual DHL Express charge including insurance at the value of the piece, and it will be confirmed to you in writing before the collection is booked. Nothing is deducted that you have not seen first.
You may also return the piece yourself if you prefer. In that case an insured and tracked service is required, the cost is yours and is not reimbursed, and the piece remains your responsibility until it arrives at the studio.
Refunds are issued within 14 days of the piece being received back at the studio. Because the studio offers to collect every return, payment is withheld until the piece has arrived.
The refund covers the price of the piece and the original outbound shipping. Deducted from it are the cost of collection and, where the seal has been broken, the reduction in value.
Commissioned pieces are made to individual specification and cannot be returned. This is consistent with the statutory exemption for bespoke goods under EU consumer law.
If a commissioned piece arrives materially different from the approved proposal, write to the studio within 7 days of delivery. This will be treated as a production issue and resolved accordingly. This does not limit your statutory rights.
If any piece — ready-made or commissioned — arrives damaged, write to the studio within 48 hours. Keep all packaging and photograph the damage before handling the piece further. This documentation is required for the insurance process, and reporting promptly protects the claim. It does not limit your statutory rights.
The studio will arrange collection and manage the resolution. You will not be left without remedy.
Write to ewa@ewasleziona.com with your order number and a brief description of your reason. The studio will confirm the cost of collection and arrange it with you.
The studio will respond within two working days.
