The long rose gold pin runs diagonally across the frame, widening near the point into a white gold spearhead set with small diamonds. The light falls from one side and passes through the stone rather than reflecting off it.

The name is for the scent, not the form. Gardenia — you cannot describe it and you cannot forget it.

The flower is carved from a single piece of rock crystal, frosted rather than polished. The surface does not throw light back — it takes it in, and the light moves through the stone differently at every angle, differently at every hour. At the centre, a yellow sapphire glows as if lit from within. The pin is rose gold. The guard that covers the point is white gold, set with diamonds, and it lifts off.
This is how that scent wanted to be.

Wipe with a soft cotton cloth after wear. Clean gently in warm soapy water. Store separately from other pieces.

The point guard lifts off to fasten the pin and slides back on afterwards. It is a small separate piece — keep it with the brooch when the pin is not worn.
